COACHES & STAFF

JOHN CARROLL

President

I was born in Dallas, Texas and attended Lewisville High School where I graduated in 1995. As a player, I have a State Championship from my Junior year. I am married to Cassy Carroll and I have two kids ages 19 and 24. I started coaching youth football in 2010 on the flag level. I then started the NTX Cowboys Organization in early 2011. In the past 10 years years we have accumulated 6 Super Bowl winning age groups with 2 more second-place finishes. We have captured 27 first-place tournament titles as well as 4 National Titles including the Snoop National Title, Texas Select National Title, and FCS National Title. My motto is "Football is 90% mental and 10% physical.”

IAN KELLY

Athletic Director

My name is Ian Kelly. I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. I moved to Denton, Texas with my family in 2021. I have been married to my lovely wife for 9 years and we have a beautiful blended family of 8 children.

I enjoy coaching youth football as I believe it offers an excellent opportunity for young boys and girls to learn discipline and structure. I have 15 years of coaching experience on all levels. I take great pride in teaching integrity to the kids for the game I grew up loving and still do.

Favorite quote, "When you stay ready, you never have to get ready."

CASSY CARROLL

Treasurer

Cassy Carroll isn’t just part of the NTX Cowboys, she’s part of the heartbeat behind it.

As co-founder of NTX Cowboys alongside her husband, John Carroll, the two have been building something bigger than football since 2012, a culture rooted in family, discipline, and opportunity for young athletes to thrive.

With over 20 years in the legal field as a Court Administrator, Cassy knows how to run things with structure, precision, and zero nonsense. But don’t let the title fool you, outside the courtroom, she brings the hype, the hustle, and the heart.

A certified personal trainer and former Jazzercise instructor, she’s the force behind “Body by Cass,” leading workouts that push people past excuses and into results. From hosting high-energy fitness camps to rallying football moms into her “Gridiron Goddesses,” she’s built a community rooted in strength, accountability, and showing up, even when it’s hard.

And she knows hard.

After battling serious health challenges and recovering from major injuries, Cassy didn’t just bounce back, she leveled up. That resilience shows in everything she does, and it’s exactly what she pours into the kids, families, and culture of NTX Cowboys.

Whether she’s organizing behind the scenes, supporting game-day operations, or motivating others to be their best, Cassy brings passion, leadership, and just the right amount of fire to everything she touches.

Married since 2018, Cassy and John are a true team—leading, building, and pouring into their community side by side.

Wife. Mom of three. Bonus mom to two. YayYay to her grandson.

Leader. Motivator. Game changer.

And if you’re around her long enough… you’re going to get stronger too.
